Miscellaneous: FEB 1968 - U.S. Air Force requested the U.S.C.G. to evaluate engineering studies supporting a fourth station in the SEASIA Chain.

JAN 1973 - a U.S. contractor was officially the operating identity as in accordance with Paris Peace negotiations whereas all US military forces was to depart Vietnam by December 31, 1972.
